The best numpad for my DIY alarm system

Different alarm modes with the Xfinity XHK1-UE Zigbee keypad

Picked up the keypad on eBay for 27 USD (and 30 USD shipping to Denmark 🤦‍♂️), but honestly it was worth it.

The build quality and features are excellent. The buttons have a really satisfying, solid click, and it integrates nicely with Home Assistant via Zigbee2MQTT, where I use it to control my alarm modes.

It also has a built-in motion sensor, which is great for things like auto backlight, warning beeps, and other automations. It runs on four AA batteries, and the battery life is more than a year.

Pairing was a bit fiddly, but once it was joined to Zigbee2MQTT it was easy to integrate and use.
